Powertrain
A lift truck has to be really tough to last for many hours of heavy operation within extreme environments. These machinery have to be able to move loads fast and efficiently whilst still being ergonomic to the operator. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain offers superior durability through its computer controlled transmission and engine, extremely robust shafts and gears and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated so as to reduce vibration and noise inside the operator's compartment.

Electrical
The electrical system of a lift truck is responsible for linking the truck's major nerve centers together. Hence, the electrical system within the lift truck needs to be dependable and durable for the most demanding cold/hot and dry/wet operations. There is much sophistication needed to be able to control truck functionality.

Delivering dependable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system utilizes digital technology and reduces electrical connections and lessens wiring as well. This results in awesome serviceability and improved dependability.

Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components consist of: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, fine micron filters and long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders.
